Course Structure
Online First Aid Course
2 Hours
Access our modern e-learning platform from anywhere with internet access on your own devices including smartphone, laptop, or desktop computer, and complete the comprehensive theoretical training at your own pace
In-Person Training
30 Minutes
Visit us at one of our Sydney locations for face-to-face training about the essentials of First Aid, use of a Manikin and AED (Automated External Defibrillator), sling application, bleeding management, trauma triage and much more
Complete Assessment
30 Minutes
Be assessed on your new First Aid skills such as:
– Perform CPR on one Adult & one Infant Manikin
– Assess and manage a casualty suffering from a range of injuries
– Practical first responder techniques
Receive Certificate
Issued ASAP
Pass the course successfully and we’ll register your new qualification under your USI number! Certificate processing typically takes 24 hours, after which you can download a copy on your device or forward to an employer

HLTAID011 Course Overview
Students completing this course will gain the skills and knowledge required to provide a first aid response to a casualty in line with first aid guidelines determined by the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) and other Australian national peak clinical bodies.
This course applies to all people who are responsible for the safety of others and may be required to provide First Aid at short notice, in community and workplace settings.

Asthma may require an inhaler to open the airways Drowning is a common cause of respiratory problems For Cardiac Arrests use an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Envenomation from an Australian Eastern Brown Snake Neck or head injuries require immediate attention and care Chemical exposure or poison ingestion can be dangerous
The course runs in the morning, beginning around 8:00AM
Bring your ID (such as a NSW Drivers Licence, Passport, Medicare Card), a black or blue ballpoint pen, and comfortable practical clothing

The certification requires in-person physical assessment of your skills and cannot be completed entirely online – but it does save a lot of time to do the study first!
This course has no pre-requisite knowledge requirements.
All e-learning and theory assessment must be completed before attending the course in person.
Participants must be physically able to perform at least 2 minutes of uninterrupted CPR on the floor (to simulate a real casualty), and to lift and manipulate the training dummy.
All training and assessment will be done in English, requiring basic levels of reading, writing, and language ability. Please contact us if you have any concerns.
Upon completion of this course, the following unit(s) will be issued by ABC Licence Training Pty LTD – RTO 3399
HLTAID009 – Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation
HLTAID010 – Provide basic emergency life support
